The Governance and Nominations Committee (GNC) is responsible for ensuring that the Corporation operates in consonance with the best governance principles, including identifying, screening, and recommending to the Corporation candidates for election to the Corporation; annually soliciting nominations from the Corporation for all standing committees other than the visiting committees; and recommending to the Corporation candidates for election to the standing committees, including the chairs of these committees.
The GNC consists of the Chair of the Corporation and the President (both ex officio), five to seven voting members of the Corporation, and one emeritus life member of the Corporation.
